Stock dove occupants

Last year I put a kestrel box up in an oak tree at the opposite end of the garden to my second one. Nothing seemed to show much interest and I had stopped monitoring it. When I climbed up to move the camera, I was amazed to find 3 eggs. It turned out to be a stock dove! This year, the pair are showing interest again. Quite pretty birds and I will ‘allow’ them to use the box as the kestrels have taken up residence in the other one!!!
