These updates have been done on my return from a few days away….. watched my i-catcher footage and chose a few shots that best summed up the day in the nestbox. These are from Saturday 29th… a very dismal day, so I think the chicks decided the cosy nestbox was a better option than the cold, rainy day outside. The poor parents though…. seemed quite overwhlemed when they entered the nestbox and were beseiged by all these chicks, who are as big as they are now!
I was not convinced that all seven chicks were still in the nest box, but in this shot, I have drawn a circle on each of the chicks…. this was the last shot I found of all seven.
