Yesterday, the male was spending quite a lot of time around the field opposite my office. At one point, he perched on the stump of the tree that fell down a month or so ago. It would have made a cracking photograph! He then sat for about 15 minutes on the hedge on the far side of the field.
I got my 7D out and the Sigma 150-500mm lens. He was still a way off, even with this lens, but it will give you an idea of what I am seeing… all filmed from my bathroom window!
