Mrs B is still sitting tight. She kept standing up and looking underneath today and I was starting to think that maybe the eggs were hatching, but it is a bit early and when she got off briefly, I could still see three intact eggs. They should hatch early next week, then I will have some more interesting shots to upload…. she looks pretty much the same everyday at the moment! No sign of the male. Will he just appear when the chicks hatch…. how does he ‘know’? Is he nearby keeping a look out?
