My nephew was 5 years old recently, and for his birthday I sent him a bird table for his garden. He comes and stays with me a couple of times a year and loves doing wildlife projects with me in the garden and I am hoping that my early encouragement will mean he grows up with a love of the natural world!
I recently received these photos from my brother… Rory was thrilled with his pressie and it is established in their garden, attracting a few birds already. Spending time with young people and instilling an early passion for wildlife gives me great pleasure and these photos, to me, sum up what it is all about!!
… and then last week I received this through the post….. priceless!!
