Delighted to see that a nuthatch actually came into the oak tree nest box today and had a good look around. I have seen a couple of beaks, but they have not looked in far enough for me to confirm it was a nuthatch. It would be brilliant if it did decide to nest here…. have never seen footage of nuthatches in boxes. He’ll have to fight off the blue tit pair though, who have been very active in there.
