More Moss!

There has been much collecting of moss today, with the bluetits busy in the nest box from about 7.30am until about 7pm! 90% of the nest seems to be moss and a lot of fluttering, arraanging and spreading of what is there today. Almost every other visit involved moving the materials to the sides with wings and tail spread repeatedly……

There were a few really long strands of dry grass which came in…. were taken out…. came back in and eventually were ‘tangled’ onto the moss.

Also, I think the great tit came back in for a look….. a very angry blue tit soon made it clear this nestbox was taken!
