This year, I was delighted to be invited to speak at CountryFile Live; a large show held at Blenheim Palace. I appeared on Countryfile a few years ago when they came to film some of the projects I have undertaken at Yew View. I was asked to join Ellie Harrison (Presenter) and Jo Brane (series producer) on the Big Barn Stage to talk about the work I do and what it was like to appear on Countryfile.
Arriving early to the stunning grounds of Blenheim, I made my way over to the Big Barn. It was a privilege to see my name on all the big boards around the venue and in the catalogue and certainly worth a picture!
Meeting some other Countryfile team, we discussed the plan for the session. I had already sent some clips of some of my wildlife filming projects over to the team and these were loaded up, ready to discuss. Having a quick chat to Ellie before our slot and we headed out to the stage. The arena was full and we had a great session, chatting about some of my projects and talking about the show and how it is planned and produced. I had taken all sorts of footage, including some of my more original projects such as my bird snack bar and mammal boxes.
