I got up quite early , as it was a beautiful sunny morning and climbed up into the treehouse to try and get some shots of the blue tits coming in and out of the box. They have been really active, but only seem to be looking….. nothing has actually happened yet. It was interesting to watch them from the outside, rather than just looking at inside the box footage, as I think there are more than one pair looking in. Also a male house sparrow tried to get close and they chased him off! I presume he was the one who looked in the odd box earlier in the week, as I hardly ever see house sparrows in the garden. Difficult to get a good picture as there is very bright sky to the right of the photo, the entrance hole is in shade and the sun was shining on the left hand side of the box…. played around with metering and setting and these are three of the shots I got.
