I finally have an egg in my oak tree nest box! I turned on the camera this morning to see a single egg. It does look a rather strange shape though…. quite long. Also, I was suprised to find that the blue tits have spent very little time in there today. The female did return later in the evening and settle down on the nest. Maybe there will be some more eggs in the morning.
