Make sure you have the sound on!
I have had SO much fun doing this! Just simply take any toys you have and think about how you could best incorporate them into your garden out outdoor setting. Make the environment fit your toy. If your toy is climbing, put it is a tree or branch. Think about using props and hiding part of the toy, to make it feel it is part of the landscape! It only took me about an hour to create these! I filmed the whole thing on my phone, using a low angle to give a feeling of being up close and part of the landscape..
How did I put it all together?
I filmed a series of short clips for the first video. I used an app called 'SPLICE', on the iPhone, to join it all together and add music. The app is free for the first 2 weeks. I like it so much, I pay weekly if I think I am going to use it again. There are lots of free video-based apps on the market that are easy to use.
**If you are a child PLEASE CHECK WITH AN ADULT before uploading apps!**
The beaver video used stills and then iMovie with the 'ken burns' effect to zoom in on the image. I then imported it into Splice to add the music, as there is such a good selection on there. There are Android options as well. Most are easy to use and pretty intuitive!
If this all sounds a bit too complicated, leave it to the kids, or just do a photoshoot! PicCollage is a great free app for creating montages of pictures!
