Gwyllt Hollow - Crate Feeding Station

This feeding station is mounted in an old dog crate. Using a caged set-up such as this, means that you can feed the smaller species and keep the larger birds, such as the corvids, pigeons and the squirrels, off of the feeders and the food. These crates are often easy to pick up 2nd hand on online auction sites and FB marketplace. With a few simple adaptations, you can create the prefect safe refuge space for your smaller visitors.

Check out the video at the bottom of the page, showing how I set his one up in the Gwyllt Hollow garden.
