Gwyllt Hollow - Pond Pool

I was lucky enough to already have a small wildlife pond here at Gwyllt Hollow. I created a shallow platform at one end, so there was an area a few cm deep... perfect for drinking and bathing. I have been blown away by how many different species have used it and regualry upload clips to the YouTube Playlist. When it is cold and icy, I try to break the ice as regularly as I can to ensure they can still visit. Bathing in very cold weather is important for birds as they need to keep plumage in tip-top condition if they are to make it through cold spells.

What to look out for......
