When out in my garage port, I saw a load of moss on the floor. Looking up, I could see a wren was trying, unsuccessfully, to build a nest in the armpit of a fleece hanging there. I had an old pair of leaking walking boots and I had put them to one side, with the view to hang them up as nesting spaces. This was the perfect time! I screwed the boot in the same location and, within just a few hours, the male had started bringing moss inside.

The male builds multiple nests and then invites the female in, to inspect and to choose one. Both male and female have been seen here and I really hope they nest here!
