Making the most of social media had enabled me to share my work with people all over the world! Without it, I would not have met some of my closest wildlife friends, visited some amazing sites and appeared on BBC Springwatch! The Internet means that we can all connect now and share our passions for the natural world. I can watch live cams of peregrines on Norwich Cathedral or bird feeders in Ontario. I can receive lovely emails from people on the other side of the world who are enjoying my website and its live cameras and who read and respond to my blog and I can have conversations, on Twitter with the producers of the wildlife programme I am watching on BBC or discuss how to create the perfect Tawny Owl box!
I just love the power of social media and I use it extensively!
This is my favourite social media platform and I use it extensively! I tweet just about every day and it acts as a running commentary to all my wildlife projects! To date, I have nearly 10,000 followers.
