Today’s Jackdaw Footage

I have been watching these jackdaws most of today, as I have my camera on a separate screen and I can watch it as I work from my computer. As these two seem to be likely to nest, I began to think of names. As one has a very pronounced limp, I am going to call her, ‘Hopper’. From their behaviour today, I think this might be the female. The other one, who I think is the male, I am going to call ‘Dave’….. don’t ask why… it just seems to suit him! so, welcome to Hopper & Dave – we will watch their progress with interest!
