Pond Dip Pleasures

This weekend, I had my brother visit with his three young children… Rory, aged 4, James aged 2 and little Emma who is nearly 7 months old. The boys are fascinated in everything in the garden  so I was delighted to spend time pond dipping with them. They were extremely excited when I caught a frog, which we all ‘stroked’, but the newt caused the most excitement as they had never seen one before.What a special moment!  It was so lovely to see watch their expression and see the sheer delight on their faces when they had a newt on their hand! Oh, the joys of being an aunty!
