Off to BirdFair!

Tomorrow, I will be heading up to Rutland, in Leicestershire, to take part in BirdFair 2012. I will be on the JJ Vickers stand in the Optics Marquee for anyone who is thinking of coming a long… pop along and say ‘hello’! I am really looking forward to it as it is a great meeting place for wildlife enthusiasts and a super chance to meet up with people I have met through Twitter or from other events. There are lots of amazing naturalists there too and a host of wonderful talks and demonstrations. Here are a few of the folks you may see about….

‘Described as the birdwatcher’s Glastonbury, The British Birdwatching Fair is jointly organised by the Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust and the RSPB. Birdfair encompasses the whole spectrum of the birdwatching industry whilst at the same time supporting global bird conservation. This is the event of the year if you’re into birds and wildlife.

There are hundreds of stands selling the latest products for wildlife enthusiasts. You’ll find everything, from scopes to sculptures, binoculars to bird food, eGuides to eco-holidays!’

I plan on tweeting and blogging from the show, so keep an eye out on my website, blog and Twitter feed for updates on how it is all going!
