Oddbox camera problems

I was really pleased yesterday to see some serious interest in the odd box, but the image kept degrading. This morning, I got up early and took a different camera out and plugged it in, but still had the same problem. Then managed to stretch the cable from  my night time camera, to the nestbox camera…..fine! So there must be a problem with the cable. It runs 30m along a fence, up through a tree, then along the wall of my house, into my office. It has been there for a while now as the camera was on feeders before. There must be some damage to it somewhere… typical just as the action begins! I have ordered another cable and I have an extension from the nestbox, so there will be no need to disturb the box. The image varies, but managed to get these screen shots of the blue tits today…. they have bought all this moss in today!

I am a little suspicious though….. when there was a lot of activity in this box, there didn’t appear to be in the oak tree nestbox…. could it be the same pair???
