I actually did it!….. I managed to run the Lichfield 10k, finishing in 1 hour and 4 minutes. The course is a very hilly one, with a killer of a hill at 6k, but I set off at a steady pace and kept that speed up for the whole race. I felt pretty good throughout and even had enough left at the end to put on a turn of speed toward the finishing line.
