My bullfinches return!

All last winter, I was thrilled to have a number of bullfinches visiting my feeders on a regular basis. Their vibrant colours were a wonderful addition to the mix of avian visitors that I attract. In late spring, they stopped visiting the feeders as the food available in the wild was sufficient, meaning they did not need to seek that extra boost from my sunflower hearts!

Whilst working from home today, I was delighted to see a stunning male visit the sunflower heart feeder on my hub. I managed to capture a quick clip from my cams before he disappeared. Keep an eye out on my live stream cameras for these fantastic finches… a wonderful addition to any bird feeding station.
