I have just processed some Bushnell footage that Tim sent me a few weeks ago. Locating some more potential otter sites, the Bushnells were set to monitor these new spaces and, as predicted, they were frequented by otters! These fresh water pools by the coast are regular stops for otters. They can drink and bathe, ensuring their fur is kept in tip-top condition.
These first two clips are in the original location I visited when I was there in August…. the otters visit here almost every night..
The next location is further a long the beach and Tim tried two different spots for the camera…..
This clip was rather interesting…. an incredible number of invertebrates… sand hoppers possibly????
I can’t wait to get up to Hillockhead again to set some of my Bushnells!
