I was up early this morning and was delighted to see that the jackdaws seemed to be showing a lot of interest in Squirrel Studio…. now to be re-named… The Studio!! There was a pair who were definitely showing all the right signs; bringing materials in…. taking materials out and then wing shuffling. At one point they were both in there as well.
I am really hoping that they continue as I have a soft spot for jackdaws. They are very animated characters and great to photograph as their blue eye shows up really well. I think they would provide some superb viewing on my live cams, so fingers crossed!!
One thing was bugging me… a spider web that had been built across the lens. Whilst the jackdaws were off in the field, I quickly climbed up and wiped the lens… now we are ready for action!!
