I am delighted to announce that the Mammal Society ‘Mammal Photographer of the Year 2016’ is now open for entries. This is the third year that I have been asked to judge this great competition, open to all amateur photographers. This year, I am thrilled to have the wonderful Sophie Stafford and Nick Baker on board as judges and we can’t wait to see what this year’s entries will bring!
This year has some fantastic prizes up for grabs from wildlife holidays, to photography hides to a top of the range Bushnell trail camera! The Mammal Society would like to extend their thanks to all the sponsors who kindly donated the great prizes on offer.
The competition is open until the 12th February 2016, and entry is FREE. All you need to do, is attach your high resolution images to an email (info@themammalsociety.org) explaining where the photos were taken and any story that goes along with them. For full details and Terms & Conditions, go to The Mammal Society website page.
An awards evening and exhibition of all the winning images will be held at The Mammal Society Spring Conference & AGM on 8th April 2016 at Yarnfield Park Conference Centre in Stone, Staffordshire.
