Despite the rather dismal weather over the last few days, there are certainly botanical signs of spring in the garden. My bulbs are tentatively peeping up from the soil and the snow drops have been in flower for over a week now. The hellebores are just coming into flower and there is evidence of life around the pond. The frogs are stirring and the marsh marigolds are coming into leaf. I reckon they will be flowering in the nest few weeks…. I just wish it would stop raining!
