Foxes

The foxes are visitng every night now….. it was only just dark last night when the vixen appeared at about 8.30pm. The dog appeared later and gave me the chance to have a good look at them both so I can identify them. The dog is quite large with black feet at the black and dark markings up his front feet, making a diagonal marking across his knees. Most distinctive for him is a paler strip on his hips. The vixen, who is smaller, only has black feet and ankles and no paler markings. Tonight, at 10pm, only the dog has visited…. eaten just about everything I have put out… 2 small bantam eggs , some dog biscuits and some raisins.
