Fox update

The farmers have been cutting, turning and baling the hay in the field that the fox den is in and I think they have been a little unsettled by it. Despite some really promising evenings of lovely sunshine… perfect for photography, they have not made an appearance until 10pm, when it is far too dark to do anything!  It is half nine now and no one has appeared yet, which is a shame. The bales have now been collected, so it will be quiet in the field again, so maybe they will settle down again. It must be strange for them though… last week the field was waist high, with loads of cover. Now it is only a cm high, with no cover! Hopefully they will make some more appearances this weekend.
