I was delighted to see my female blackbird return to her nest today and I am really pleased with the image I am getting from the hastily erected camera! She has spent most of today on the nest and spent some time looking underneath and I was hoping she has laid an egg, but she has got off tonight and I can’t see anything in there yet. Also, she has been gone off of the nest for at least an hour. From the angle the camera is at, you can’t quite see into the whole of the nest, so there may be an egg in the part that I can’t quite see. I am pretty excited about having another nest to watch though. Also, hoping to get some live streaming set up soon so I can share my webcams.
