I decided to sit up close to the hedge in the field tonight as it was such a lovely evening and see if I could get some pictures of the foxes. I usually photograph them from the bedroom window. I did not have to wait long before Fern appeared. The trouble is the sun is low to the right and very strong, so it makes exposure difficult. She heard the shutter, stopped and looked straight at me! She was not disturbed by me though. I was quite suprised as I thought I might have to get a hide to photograph in the field. She was limping today on her front left paw. You can see her holding it up slightly in the photos. Here are a few of my favourites..
