My foxes are just starting to appear before dark now and today, this vixen appeared at about 5.30pm. She was too nervous to come to the feeding station in daylight and stayed over the far side of the field. It is so good to see them in the ‘flesh’ as such after a winter of only watching them in IR on my night cameras. Hopefully over the nest few months we will start seeing them (and some cubs) in daylight and I can start to get some decent shots. These were with my lens at full stretch, on ISO 800 and in gloomy light… but still nice to see!
