I have tried to get some more shots of the blue tits bringing in food into the nestbox today. It is so difficult… they are just too quick for me and do not perch anywhere nearby. Ther suddenly appear out of nowhere… straight into the box! I had a lot of pictures of just an empty hole, either having missed it when it was coming in or missed it when it came out! Also, now the leaves are coming out on the oak tree, it is really shady and difficult to get a fast enough shutter speed to capture them clearly. I did manage to get a couple though… nice for any visitors to this blog to see the box from the outside as well as the inside!
