Just a month from when I last photographed the pond, I took some more shots today. Already, the ‘drumstick’ primulas and marsh marigolds are flowering now. The hostas are showing and the snakes head fritillary are just into bud. The frogs have stopped mating now and there is quite a lot of spawn in the pond. As I watched today, I saw one of the newts and I must move the underwater cam toward the centre of the pond to see if we can get the newts on the live cam! The difference in just one month is quite noticeable!
