I will be doing various counts over the weekend, before choosing the one to submit, that best represents the birds in my garden. I am really hoping my bullfinches and blackcaps make an appearance! Shame I am not going to be able to get Barn Owl in my hour!
Tomorrow (Sunday 26th) between 11-12pm, I am going to be doing a live bird count using my HD web cameras.
I wanted to do something a bit different this year for the Big Garden Birdwatch. As I now have some super HD cameras on my feeders, I wanted to be able to share them with as many people as want to take part! If you don’t have a garden or want to practise your bird ID skills, or just share my birds for an hour, you can pop in anytime!

I will be monitoring these feeders between 11-12pm on Sunday 26th and this may be the count I submit to the RSPB. You can take part too, if you wish, by watching the cams here and joining in with the comment board! You will be able to type messages about anything you have seen, using this Big Cam Bird Watch Comment board. Simply click on the ‘Add a comment’ at the bottom and type your message! I will also be tweeting with the #BigCamWatch, and logging the species as they appear. You can also join in by using the #BigCamWatch if you are on Twitter. Finally, I will be capturing screenshots from the cams to document all the species seen within the hour!
