Autumn seems to have held off until this last week, with suddenly all the leaves starting to turn, yet still be on the trees, thanks to relatively mid and rather wet conditions. With a bit of rare Autumn sunshine, the garden was looking lovely, so I took a bit of time to take some photos and to do an Autumnal video tour... something I have neglected of late.
Part of the reason of doing these videos is so I can have a record of all I do here. It is easy to forget how everything evolves and changes over time. I also had the idea of created a YouTube channel that would give me the chance to show what I was up to as well as possibly (one day!) earn a tirckle income from it. To make any money from YouTube, you have to accumulate a lot of followers, subscribers and views. I am still some distance from that, but may be my rather amateur attempts at videos will eventually reach those numbers.
The sweet chestnuts and maple are gifting leaves of beautiful colours and there are still quite a lot of berries and rose hips around. The rowan berries were quickly devoured by the blackbirds, so very few left for the redwing that are now beginning to grace the skies about the woods.

I feel pleased with everything I have achieved in the last year and I am beginning to feel very much part of this land. I feel that I know more about what I need to do over Autumn and Winter and have lots of ideas and projects of course!
My latest YouTube video takes you on a little tour, shows you some of this last year's projects and tells you about some of my plans for the rest of the year and into 2025!
If you are enjoying this content, please subscribe and check out the videos on my channel ... you never know, one day, I may reach the viewer numbers needed to start earning a bit from my content!
