"Nature's Feast sent me some feeders and a selection of feeds to try in the WildlifeKate garden. I already have a selection of their feeders and I have been really pleased with them. Their sunflower heart feeder has been one of the most popular in my garden. I was sent a new feeder that was launched Autumn 2010 - the 'Tornado Twister' ..... I was keen to try this feeder as it is able to hold three different seed blends.. great for my live camera! "
"This feeder is an excellent idea! The inside is split into three spiralling chambers , meaning that there are two ports delivering each seed type. I was provided with three different seed types for this feeder; Finches Favourite, sunflower hearts and a high energy seed mix. Their mixed colours looked really attractive in this feeder. The ports are metal and squirrel resistant and I was able to screw a seed tray into the base."
Check out my live cams to see these feeders in action in my garden.
"This sunflower heart feeder is one of the most popular in my garden. Its diagonal mesh means that it is perfect for dispensing sunflower hearts."
"The bottom part of this feeder unscrews to make the dispenser holes larger or smaller. This allow you to control the flow of the seed or make it suitable for a range of different sized foods"
"This niger feeder has tiny holes punched in the metal body just big enough to hold the niger but allow the finches to get at it. A different way to dispense this seed that is popular with goldfinches."
"This fat ball feeder is perfect for a range of fat ball or make your own fat cylinder to drop inside! It is also great as a nesting material dispensetr in the spring!"
"This peanut dispenser is a bit bit different, with its punched holes... a great barrier against the squirrles who have destroyed quite a few of my peanut feeders in the past!"
I have been trialling a selection of the Nature's Feast bird foods in the Tornado Twister Feeder.
